My Little Pony Season One is an animated series about a pony named Twilight Sparkle and hey loyal assistant Spike (a purple and green baby dragon) that get sent to a city called Ponyville to learn about what friendship is all about.  Not long after moving in she is met with other ponies (not in any particular order): Rainbow Dash (A pony with wings (also known as a Pegasus), a rainbow mane and also has a bit of an attitude), Fluttershy (A Pegasus that's really good with animals but is really shy around everything else), Rarity (A unicorn type pony (like Twilight Sparkle) that loves looking pretty, loves beautiful things and can tend to be a bit nit-picky), Pinky Pie (A very hyperactive pony that really loves fun), and Applejack (A hard working pony with a southern accent that works on a apple farm).  After an intense battle with Nightmare Moon they form a strong friendship.  Looks like Twilight Sparkle's mission is going really well but there is still a lot more she will learn about why friendship is magic.  (Click "Read More" to read the full review).

Hey guys, time for some serious buisness. A friend of mine named Steve Fillmore has a nasty type of cancer and is asking for donations, so his treatment can continue. He and fiance have been working 2 jobs to sustain the treatments and live. Now they are getting to the point where their insurance will be cancelled if they don't pay theyre outstanding dept. This is a review of The Last Story for the Nintendo Wii. This game was developed by Mistwalker, AQ Interactive and published by XSEED Games.

Doomsday Book is a collection of three short films from South Korea that deal with horror and science fiction.  This is also a collaboration project between two directors: Pil-Sung Yim (Hansel & Gretel (2007)) and Kim Jee-Woon (The Last Stand (2013), A Tale of Two Sisters (2003)).  The three films are: A Brave New World, The Heavenly Creature and Happy Birthday.  Much like how I reviewed "Samurai Horror Tales (2006)" earlier this year (You can read the review here) I'm going to review each feature individually.  So let's not waste any more time with this opening paragraph and get straight into the review (ghost sounds).  (Click "Read More" to see the review).

That certain time has come yet again... although much later that what I'd like it to be.  I am indeed talking about the my very late review of this years Money In The Bank.  No doubt one of WWE's most exciting shows of the year thanks to the money in the bank match itself.  If you are unfamiliar with how the match goes I'll give you the lo-down (damn that sounded dorky) on how this match works.  You have a bunch of wrestlers in the ring (around six to eight) trying to grab a briefcase that's hanging up above the wrestling ring.  The recommended method is to climb a ladder but the rules don't state that you have to so you can get away with some unorthodox stuff.  Once a wrestler has obtained the briefcase he has the power to cash in the contract that's inside to score a title match whenever they want but they only have one year before the contract expires.  There is normally two money in the bank matches on this pay per view with one for the Raw roster and the other for Smackdown.  This year they did something different and instead of doing the Raw and Smackdown theme they did "Rising Stars" and "Superstars" instead.  So how did it all go?  Click "Read More" to find out.  Sorry this review was late but that's a long story that I don't want to get into...  actually it's not that long.  I started working on this review as soon as the show finished but midway during the rough draft I lost internet connection for a few weeks and lost track of my work.  Don't worry though, the other reviews are right on schedule (until I get distracted by something shiny again).  (Click "Read More" for full review).

Rurouni Kenshin - New Kyoto Arc is a two part OVA (Original Video Animation) series that's also a remake of the "Kyoto Arc" from the manga and television series.  This mini-series starts off with a female ninja named Misao who finds Kenshin and asks him to help her find someone she really cares for.  Kenshin warns her that isn't a very good idea and will only lead her to disappointment but Misao convinces him to go anyway.  We then cut to the bad guy of the show, Shishiro.  Shishiro is a bandage-clad gang leader that looks a bit like an Egyptian mummy and his plan is to commit genocide and take over what's left of the land and rule like a God.  Kenshin burst into Shishiro's hideout and demands that Shishiro surrender but Shishiro refuses and pretty much calls Kenshin soft for throwing away his murderous ways.  Shishiro starts admiring Kenshin's sword and leaves the battle with his second-in-command challenging Kenshin to a duel.  The battle ends in a tie but leaves Kenshin in need of a new sword so he goes on a trip to visit a swordmaker so he can defeat Shishiro.  Kenshin makes it to the Swordmaker's house but finds that the guy he is looking for has passed on and asks his son instead.  The Swordmaker's Son refuses to make anything that can harm people in battle.  Shishiro sends out one of his men to kidnap the Swordmaker's Grandson and wants a sword for the kids ransom.  The goon only lasts a few seconds in a fight with Kenshin and the Swordmakers Son comes to his senses and gives Kenshin the last sword that his father made.  Off to stop Shishiro.  (Click "Read More" to read the full review).
