Whenever I start a video game series I being with the first entry. This way you don't have to deal with taking a step back in game play mechanics. I say this because as I was looking into jumping into the second Phantasy Star Portable I kept running into the advice to just skip the first game which I had really enjoyed.

Another is an animated horror mystery series about a teenaged boy named Koichi Sakakibara who just moved into town and hospitalized shortly after. While in hospital he is visited by some students from the school he is going to. The students give him a warm welcome, wish him a nice recovery and leave. Later during the night Koichi goes for a stroll and runs into a girl with an eye-patch in the elevator. He asks her why she is out this late? She replies with "To visit my other half" and walks into the morgue. Koichi gets released from the hospital and goes back home to live with his grandparents and very attractive aunt (she is also a teacher that works at the school). Koichi starts school but he notices some weird things like how class three is always separated from the rest of the school. Everytime he asks why, the students just simply ignore him and go on with their day like nothing happened. He runs into the girl (named Mei Misaki) he met in hospital and tries to talk to her but she warns him that it is very risky talking to her. He goes on talking to her anyway despite her warning. On his way home he notices a bizarre shop that sells creepy dolls and goes in to take a peek. Well what do you know? He runs into Mei again and the two sit down and have a cup of tea. Mei tells him about an urban legend about the school that the children are taking very seriously. Next day he notices that all the kids are ignoring Mei and suspects that she is actually a ghost. Turns out that Koichi couldn't be any more wrong as the reason why they are ignoring Mei is actually for a ritual they are doing to keep away the schools curse, if anybody notices her the ritual will fail. The wrath of the curse is very great and they shortly find out later that day when a fellow classmate suffers from a very fatal accident. Turns out the curse is very, very real and the whole class is scared shitless. How will they survive this?.. Or will they survive this? Is the more appropriate question. I think it's one of the worst types of content proliferating websites that cover older games and especially youtube. However there is definitely a market for it and from time to time I do make an acquisition that's worth showing off. As a matter of fact I've only ever turded up the site with one other post detailing junk I got. It was a special circumstance, Famicom games I received for my 30th birthday which happens to be the same year the Famicom turned 30. I made an exception.
Shintai and Mitch join forces to bring you a review of the anime, The Skull Man. A rather dark anime created by studio Bones, most notable for Fullmetal Alchemist.
The Amazing World of Gumball Volume One is a cartoon series about the wacky lives of Gumball Watterson along with his sister Anais and their brother Darwin . Gumball is a very adorable happy go lucky blue cat that loves to play around and have fun. Anais is a four year old pink bunny rabbit and is the brainiest of the siblings and she loves watching Daisy the Donkey. Darwin is their adopted goldfish brother that actually started off as their pet but one day he unexpectedly evolved and now he is a proud member of the family. I really like that as I hate it when I see shows that have animals as lead characters have pets. There are more great characters in this show like their parents. Their mother is an overly protective blue cat that works at a rainbow factory and their dad is a big fluffy pink bunny that loves sleeping and eating. Most of the episodes take place at either home or at their school, Elmore High. (Click "Read More" to see the full review).
Mawaru-Penguindrum is a action-packed science fiction show about a family that is sent on a mission to retrieve a book that legend says it can alter reality. There is a bit more to this as in order for it to work you must accept a punishment as payment. They're not the only ones after the book as you also have the blonde bombshell actress by the name of Yuri Tokikago. She is after the book so she can make all her pain and suffering disappear. You also have the rich beauty with a knack for shooting Ping-Pong balls with her slingshot. Her name is Masako Natsume and she is after it so she can revive her little brother Mario from his coma. The family I mentioned before is made up of two guys, a girl but no pizza place. The two brothers are named Kanba and Shoma and their little sister is named Himari. In this volume Himari is stuck at hospital in a comatose state with her brothers watching over her wondering if she'll ever wake up. They are in luck as a shady looking doctor walks up to them and offers them a all-new miracle cure that will put their sister back in tip top shape but the downside is that the cure is ridiculously expensive. Kanba manages to get some money together and pay for the medicine but Shoma gets suspicious as to how he got the money as the whole think stinks of illegal operations. How is Kanba getting the money? Who will get the book? What does the doctor really want? (Click "Read More" to see the rest of the review).
Mysterious Girlfriend X is a animated romantic comedy about a boy named Akira Tsubaki and a girl named Mikoto Urabe. The series starts off with Akira Tsubaki waking up in bed after (heavily alluding to) having his first wet dream. He gets up, gets dressed, eats breakfast, goes to school and when he starts the first period of school his class gets introduced to a new transfer student named Mikoto Urabe. Mikoto Urabe is a bit of a weird girl with her hair constantly covering her eyes, always sleeping during class breaks and randomly laughs at stuff during class from hearing stuff other students are whispering. School is finished for the day and Akira Tsubaki is getting ready to go home but before he leaves he spots Mikoto Urabe sleeping at her desk so he goes to wake her up so he can tell her that school has finished. Mikoto Urabe wakes up and Akira Tsubaki sees something he didn't expect to see and that was Mikoto Urabe's uncovered face and blushes while he watches her leave. Akira Tsubaki is about to leave but he spots a puddle of drool on Mikoto Urabe's desk and does what every young healthy boy would do... dip in his finger and start tasting it. He is surprised that the drool tastes as sweet as honey and when he goes to sleep that night he starts having dreams that he is with her dancing in a bizarre steam-punk world. The next day he falls ill with a very high temperature and is visited by Mikoto Urabe a few days later as she knows exactly why he has been bedridden for the past few days. Turns out the illness that Akira Tsubaki is suffering was from being lovesick (this scene isn't as corny as I make it out to be). Mikoto Urabe fixes the problem by giving Akira Tsubaki some of her drool and this instantly gets rid of his fever. The next day he returns to school and while Akira Tsubaki is on his way home he walks up to Mikoto Urabe and confesses his love for her and thus begins their journey together as a couple.
