If I'm not there: Tell them the planned review for Mechanic Infantry will not be. It wont run on my computer. Drat. Instead, I'll be reviewing the PC Engine game "Quiz 2: Time Machine"
Also, you'll soon be taking over the catcast again in episode numbers. MCC is at 38 & Catcast is at 49. I challenge you to see who reaches 100 first. I also wanna take my quantity crown from those insomnia killers. (You know who I'm on about Gerad.)

No Retro Kaiser = No Ratings. Worst Mondo Cool Cast Ever :(

to be fair deathadder, we brought in Critical Failure, who balanced out the podcast and made it more gooder, so it can't be the worst episode.

Everyone's favourite fan, eh? Has a nice ring to it. Though I am sure Balzak deserves that title more than me, as he has always supported our entire little community longer than me. But I do appreciate the compliment.

I have enjoyed the the Mondo Cool Live shows but I'd like to see something more. Here are some suggestions:
More anime talk - Shintai is always on the show and when Kaiser comes back we can have a good little anime segment, I am sure Jerid also loves anime to a certain extend, so he'll be interested to hear some talk and maybe chime in every now and then.
What you have been playing recently. I know it's a clichè but it is fun to talk about it, as we get more discussions and podcast time.
Now, time for comments regarding the previous show: I liked it but it would be nice to let someone other than Jerid to read the fan mail. But the main thing I want you to discuss is: why so much portable gaming hate? Seriously, you should be happy that there is finally a new Zone of the Enders game, jet because it will be on the 3DS doesn't mean it will be a bad game. I've seen this hate going through out the entire gaming community recently, mostly around the US part of it. You see to be bitching about it without reason. The only time there was no hate for portable gaming was Dragon Quest 9 and Mega Man Legends 3. Those times people were actually happy they would be on portable consoles. So why do you hate portable gaming so much handheld hate! Explain yourselves! Also now that I am in China I wanted to share my pain by saying that video game sales are illegal. You know what that means? I can't collect unless I find an importer who works independently, which will be very hard. Truly Iile in a gamer's hell.
-VK, everybody's favourite fan.

I can understand what you mean by dangling the carrot in front of the donkey with certain games. Especially with trophies. I very rarely give into the temptation where they're concerned, with two exceptions. Sega Megadrive Ultimate Collection and Heavy Rain. In both cases, I just wanted to unlock all the extras for Sega, and all the endings for Heavy Rain. However, I found I had a handful of trophies left and figured, why not? They were easy to get. As I result, I've got two Platinum Trophies on my PSN account. However, most of the time, I just don't care. Not long ago, I finished the puzzle/dating sim game, Catherine. I went out of my way to unlock the extra modes and see all the endings. I haven't tried for all the trophies, as the game is quite challenging and attempting to do so would take up too much time, which I really don't have. If I ever decide to do so, all the modes are open and I can return at any time. Besides, there are other games I want to play with the time I have to do so.

I know you like looking for bargains and getting value for your buck. This week I got the opportunity to go to the next town over. Whenever I go there, I always check the big chain stores, two specialty stores, and the pawn shop. The two specialty stores are EB and a store simply known as Game. I think they're a franchise. I'm not sure. Anyway, I walk into Game and they were having a sale. I picked up Mass Effect 2 for the PS3, which locally goes $109 AUD regular retail for $28. They also had Ghostbusters for PS3 for $30, but I figured I might find it cheaper else where. I looked in Big W and saw Mass Effect 2 for $88 discounted. Then I went to the pawn brokers and found Ghost Busters used for $20. A stroke of luck, but hey! I'll take it. I also picked up Star Ocean 2 on PSP for $15. My last port of call was EB(More like the last resort. Roffle. Roffle.). Flipping through the used PS2 bin, I came across Odin Sphere for $12. Grand total spent, $75 AUD. So for less than a discounted big name title like Mass Effect 2, I got 4 games in immaculate condition with one being brand new.

Sorry for the long winded post. Love the show, and yes... The sporadic tentacle rape and less than subtle innuendo that Retrokaiser delivers really does complete the mondo cool rainbow. With that in mind, I'm gonna end this this post with a poor rendition of "Over the Rainbow" from Wizard of Oz, while wearing a sequin dress, carrying a basket full of hentai kitties.

Bye! :3
