It's not often that I put up a post on the site about shit I got. I think it's one of the worst types of content proliferating websites that cover older games and especially youtube. However there is definitely a market for it and from time to time I do make an acquisition that's worth showing off. As a matter of fact I've only ever turded up the site with one other post detailing junk I got. It was a special circumstance, Famicom games I received for my 30th birthday which happens to be the same year the Famicom turned 30. I made an exception.
And again I am making an exception. Someone I know had a box full of NES carts sitting in their garage that they were getting rid of and knowing how much I love the vidy gams they let me have them. There are some doubles and and some games I already owned but there are some very nice additions to my collection.
Yeah yeah yeah Wowu! Look at all those vidy gams!
There isn't a copy of Friday the 13th in that box but I do already own it. It is nice to have the box though because at least it looks bad ass. There are a few doubles in there and several of those games I already own. Some of the titles I'm glad to have in my collection are Dr Mario, A Boy and His Blob, Zelda II gray cart, Gauntlet II, Smash TV and Air Fortress. Speaking of Air Fortress why haven't I ever heard of this game before? I popped it in my Nintendo to give it a test and fucking fell in love. It's like Metroid lite mixed with a shmup. It's amazing!
You may have noticed two copies of Gyromite which I quickly cracked open to see if there was a Famicom adapter in there but sadly there wasn't. You may be asking yourself what my plan is for these doubles. Right now I'm thinking they'll make a great prize item for a very special project I'm working on. More on that later

I would like to see some "new shit I got" posts on here. Plus, there is something very satisfying about a Rubbermaid full of NES carts.
I enjoy the VAG segments very much, even been considering sending you a mystery box if it makes it in to your VAG.
